I am writing this letter in regards to the K-9 training program and facility that Sonny and his team use for their bed bug detection program. We at Smart Pest Solutions purchased a K-9 from Sonny in August of 2014 and have been beyond happy with the results and use from our K-9. The training program went above and beyond our expectations. I started with basic handling of K-9’s and progressed into more in depth handling throughout the training. I learned everything there was to know about bed bugs as well as their behaviors. During the program I went on live bed bug inspections and used my dog in these inspections and was able to actively find bed bugs with the k-9. Once the training was over, I received ongoing support and tips as I used my dog out in the field. I was able to call Sonny at any time if I had any issues that came up or questions while I was out in the field working. I would recommend Sonny and his team if you are looking to purchase a K-9 and excel your company to the next level.

My experience with Sonny and the canine training that I have received has been invaluable. I have been doing canine inspections for bedbugs in Las Vegas for almost three years now. When I first started, we were training with another instructor out of Phoenix, he was OK but I never learned why we were doing the things we were doing with the dogs. When we parted ways, he told me about Sonny, so I looked him up and got in touch with him. I took my first two dogs to train with Sonny in Northern California and that is were we started. I looked at other trainers that were closer to home and found that what I learned from Sonny was worth the trip. I have since handed off dogs to another handler and have had two more trained by Sonny. As a matter of fact I plan on getting one more dog from him in the next few months. I have looked at other dogs trained elsewhere with the opportunity to purchase and found that they were not on the same level as Sonny’s training.
